

IceThere was a long enough break in the storm to make it home, so I figured I would take it. The people at the shelter said to ”wait until morning, it would be safer”. I would have liked to, but I couldn’t wait. That’s what I told myself, at least. Stepping outside the door, I walked into a frozen wasteland. There was nothing that was not covered in a glistening sheet ice. It was as if someone had been out during the storm, replacing everything with glass. It was actually rather pretty.
